Hi Fredcdobbs
Thankyou for that infor.

Is there a lot of collectors for this type of material. I bought it because it was unusual to see something like this in Australia, and at $2.00 I have not lost anything and I have I item that I will treasure.
Regards,
Horamakhet

Like most covers, there is a market for it with Space Topicalists and/or Cover Collectors, but value is rather minimal, probably because they were prepared in such massive quantities.

See attached ebay listings suggesting that similar covers are currently on the auction block for a "buy it now" price of $4.50 to $8.50 (with no bids):

And check out that great postmark from the USS Ticonderoga.

I believe the moniker "Tico Tigers" is still used by the Navy.

Since Ticonderoga is my hometown he is a little info. The carrier was always know as "Big T". We had a deep loss of our carrier when decommissioned. But was soon to be replaced by the new Aegis ships know as "Ticonderoga class". The Navy commissioned the first Aegis cruiser, USS Ticonderoga (CG 47), Jan. 22, 1983, and changed the shape of naval warfare. The introduction of Aegis marked a major expansion in naval surface force capabilities, and indeed the service as a whole. Myself, father and a few others were invited down to Pascagoula for launching ceremonies. Twelve years after that I found myself living down on the coast in the same area.

An interesting note on the moon landing stamp is that the master die for the stamp was aboard the lunar module of Apollo 11 when it landed on the moon.
