Hi everyone. I would like any info available on these Canadian stamps that were in my $5.00 shoebox. I will more than likely be re-selling the majority of them and am just looking for any information that might help me with listing them on ebay. I also want to make sure I don't potentially throw a 'rare gem' in with a large lot. Any info you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Bidetsith hello. Well I'm a little disappointed you want to sell rather than build your collection up. I suspect if there was a 'rare gem' in your display, you may have had replies by now.

I encourage you to become involved and build onto your collection in preference to cashing in for a few dollars. SCF has reputable collectors/dealers, you could purchase Canadian issues to complete your sets.

Bidetsith- I can provide the Scott catalog numbers for you, but I'm not ruining the fun part for you, the searching for the good stuff I'll have to agree with Finches- I hope you find yourself interested enough to keep building. You have a nice start for early Canada. With some possible varieties to look for in these issues (though these particular stamps may not contain them its still fun to search for :) )
Lets start with top scan left to right, row by row:
Scott #190 (10c)
#338 (2c)
#340 (4c)
#341 (5c)
#165 (2c)
#106 (2c)
#254 (4c)
#284 (1c)
#231 (1c)
#232 (2c)
#107 (2c)
#108 (3c)
#164 (2c)
#217 (1c)
#193 (5c)
#89 (1c)
#235 (5c)
#231 (1c)
#233 (3c)
#195 (1c)
#196 (2c)
#163 (1c)
2ND Scan:
#721 (35c)
#727 ($2) - one of my personal favs :)
#223 (10c)
#225 (20c)
#242 (13c)
#269 (10c)
#248 (3c)
#320 (7c)
#142 (2c)
and for the final stamp someone else may have to come along and chime in. Postage due?
Hope this helps ~Ash

Just to add to the information pool, here is a lot that I sold on ebay recently:

Final sale price $2.12 +s/h

The stamps you have shown are all pretty common, maybe a few to look at would be the KGV admirals for perfs, or check into the precancel(4530) number for rarity.

Good Luck,

Skilo54

to look out for.
