Hi,

I am looking for an image of Panama Scott 601 (SG 1151).

It is a 3 cent multicolor issued in 1980 and says "Estafeta de Correos, Balboa".

Much obliged.

SCF has become almost "instant philately"
queries that may take ages in the past
are solved almost instantaneously.
We have it sweet.

I only had SG1150 then SG1154
so I shall comandeer the scan as well :)

Almost spoils you doesn't it. I acn recall having questions in the past which might take years to get answered (really). Now, if SCF and google can't answer, then the answer probably is not out there.

Yep, we have it good.

That's right rohumpy,
I recall one subscriber of "Australian Stamp News"
he wrote an article to the editor (say 3 weeks lapse)
looking for information,
he had to wait for the edition to be printed,
then hope for response from readers, then the editor to
respond in print.

Whew! a labour of love indeed. (1960's)

Smauggie, I didn't know you were doing a CZ exhibit. I am fortunate enough to have received some older Family letters as I had Family in Central America from the turn of the Century through the 1950's and have some great covers from the areas.
I'll scan some up later if you'd like to see them. Here is one that I had already scanned into my Photobucket. The thing I really like about this cover is the note that my Grandmother wrote on the envelope.

I like the nice Ancon & Cristobal Canal Zone strikes

I lived in Ancon for a some years, while growing up (1974-1980). It is still my favorite place in the world.
