Note the black brown stamp on the left side of the censored Guatemala cover...this is a postal tax stamp they are identified by the letters RA prior to the number like RA19. These postal tax stamps were mandatory at certain times..such as to fund the building of the Guatemala city post office...A woman in our Guatemala society is attempting to build a cover collection complete with all 23 of the postal revenue stamps..this might not sound difficult..But,,there are varieties..different perfs,printings etc; shes not taking on an easy thing !!
