Hello Everybody, I need heip with this card. The cancel on the left reads Camapraha on the left side and Camaroand on the right. I tried askphil and google translate and can't find out what they mean. the cancel on the right is different. All I can make out is MOC at the top of it. There is also a handstamp to the left of th first cancel..It has 3 lines I can make out TREH on the first line and OH on the bottom line. Any help with these cancels will be more than appreciated.
Thanks
David

The postmark is from Samarkand and says "Samarkand" in Cyrillic and "Samarqand" (in Uzbek) in the Latin alphabet.

The very first line in the cursive Cyrillic says "Samarkand". The left CDS has Samarkand in Cyrillic on the left. The right is the Latin lettered part. As near as I can make it out it says Samarqand. With the q representing the k sound.

The postmark on the right could contain the abbreviation for Moscow Region (Moskovskaya Oblast' abbreviated as MOS OBL)

Hope this helps. I can read some Russian, but I don't know anything about postmarks!

I agree about Moscow Oblast.

It's hard to make out the town name. My best huess is Serpukhov which at least is in the oblast.
