Evening all
Does anyone know what the red overprint is on this 1906 1c Liberia?
Can't find any reference to it in my old catalogue, either main section or postage due etc.
Thanks in advance
DavidR

Nice elephant!

It's an official stamp, SG O237 / Scott #O46 with a script "OS" overprint from 1906.

Thanks Nigel
I had missed that completely, mainly because my catalogue doesn't mention the overprint being in script, it states it is "O.S."!
Now I know what it is it does look obvious, the script being on a slant across the corner of the stamp, and underlined.
Time for new specs I reckon.
Thanks for your help.
