recently I began "friending" stamp related facebook
people, including sab delcampe and a few organizations
in the field. Nice to see some faces from the big hitters out there...
probably never see Meg Whitman joining us reall soon.
I joined one Italian group that has a member from an expertising outfit with what I estimate to be 80 expertisers....

......... and tonnes of viruses and hackers. One of the dirtiest sites on the www. if you ask me, be sure to update your anti-virus/spyware software.

Have a good one,

You're not missing anything Rod. If it weren't for my job, I'd be rid of it...though I'm sure the philatelists who are on there share no interest in posting when they are showering, eating, experiencing family feuds etc. on there...maybe if you opened an account just for stamps it wouldn't become so bothersome. Sometimes google searches of names will come up with FB pages and you need not join to view some, in case you get curious one day... I think it's just fine to stay here though :)

I show off a stamp or two every day and only 1 or two maybe hit the "like" button- let alone a comment here or there. Just no interest amongst my friends and family I guess. *sigh*

I've become fan of a few things connected to philately on facebook, but other than that haven't done any stamping on facebook. Don't really do much besides keeping in contact with friends on facebook anyway.

Concerning Facebook, Its a fantastic way for those who like to prey on homes having valuables, like a stamp collection. Face it, if you collect stamps, you probably collect other things as well. I consider Facebook being a Neon sign pointing to my house as a good place to rob. Please be careful what you put out there in cyberland. Just my opinion....
