OK, I picked these up on the cheap because I liked the eagle {lol} but I have never seen the stamp. Is it a cinderella or something?

These are colour reproductions of an 1844 Local Post which operated in New York and elsewhere.

cool. That's pretty much what I figured they was and that's quite O.K. for what I need them for. :] I thought they was a reproduction of an old provisional or something.

Your stamps are reprints from the original plate. They were made by Frank P. Brown (Stamp Company of Boston) in 1933-1934 in six colors on bond paper. They are found with or without a "Proof" handstamp on the back.
