I really did not expect to win this seeing that I bid less than 7% of CV. Poor centering, toning and what appears to be a scuff and pinhole (but is not) may have kept many bidders away. BTW, the toning is less than my scan shows. Never thought I have one of these. I am happy with it.

I would have bid 7% of CV too.

Aside from what you describe, I think this one looks pretty good!

The face looks pretty clean and pretty much all of the design is visible.

P.Bear. Thanks for helping me to appreciate the stamp more than I did. The almost lack of a cancel attracted me. Any comments on the extreme black on the back, "peeking" through the grill points that still puzzles me? I was under the impression that black ink so intense did not exist during the period. Also, it certainly appears to have been applied to the back rather than the face.
