Glad you liked it!

I just ran it through my CanoScan LiDE 90 at 600 dpi, did some cropping and gave it a final wash and rinse through the Optimizer.

I wish the signature was a bit more legible, but whomever signed it was in a big hurry. It looks like a pencil signature to the naked eye. I wonder why it needed a signature in the first place.

The signature is important, it legitimises the stamp in a way.
The stamp would have been attached to a purchase receipt probably
and the signature "cancels" the stamp to prevent re-use.

That stamp has completed its job for the government.

The Comm Opts database may be in error,
or you have a "variety"

You have a dot and a comma after Co.,

rod222,

I saw the webpage you posted when I went Googling for information and I didn't look as closely at their information as you did. Nice catch!

In order to post that web page did you do a screen capture (I know how to do that) and then crop it (I know how to do that too) in order to post it here?

Thanks for the information on the signature too. I feel so educated now.

Yes, I think Jubilee or BeeSee or some SCF member
recomended "FastStone" capture program which was free,
so I employ that, and I really like it.
