KGV Collector's color themes have me wondering... are there many PINK stamps out there? And I don't mean hot-pink... I wonder...

Well, what do you know, Nells? I happen to be organizing my UN stamps when I saw your post.

Good on you Nells250.
Great to see.

Have some big days coming up.
But I will think pink when I come back.

Just seeing the title of this thread made me start laughing.

Not that it isn't a good topic -- I just envisioned fourteen pages of us trying to define/identify the color PINK

Pigeons may die before we are finished....

This U36 is "Pink" on blue laid letter sheet and appeared in 1861 / withdrawn in 1864 with total issue of 211,800.

This U73 is called "Rose" on buff paper appeared in 1865.

Here's a page of 1864 issue to confuse everyone further

Yes, I know... PINK... when looking for stamps to post, so many were "hot pink", and all the other shades of "pink". But what I have in mind is sort of a bubble-gum shade... that may limit things a bit...
