Hey All,
I'm a medical student who recently inherited my grandfather's large (to me) stamp collection. I am joining this forum to attempt to understand stamp collecting a little better.

I'm hoping to figure out a good way of handling all the stamps, from figuring out which ones I have to, to potentially finding a way to sell some of the collection if any happen to be of value.

I'm looking forward to participating and learning from the more experienced members here.

joe, welcome to SCF and to the hobby. There is a lot of info here. You might want to browse some of the old threads. Use the search function as there is a huge amount of info posted here. Feel free to post stamps that you have questions about and ask all the questions you want. Most questions for answered rapidly.
