Just received this one from the UK today. The 1c Playing Cards is rarely ever found on document. You're much more likely to find one on a photograph. This is a lovely combination use with an R50a, R42c, and two R5c, comprising 50 cents payment in total.

Thanks for sharing that rev, it's a nice old document as well.

From what I can read it is a court summons, but why were revenue stamps required here? Was it to cover the court's processing fee or something?
