The Marshall is shown in the Bicentennial catalog as a postcancel. The Ionia is unlikely a precancel also. I MUST get the new fakes/gooks catalog at the August PSS convention. It should answer all these - what is it questions.

Thanks. I figured they probably weren't precancels as they didn't measure up to any of the known precancel varieties for those locations.

Every once and awhile I come across some of these oddities, so I decided to post them just to make sure.

chasa,

this is the first time I heard about there being a fakes/gooks catalog for precancels. Do you know whether these will be available for sale on the PSS website? I'll have to pick me up a copy as well.
