Nice covers Jim. I really like the third one down in the second post, the two stamps with the airplane silhouette and the pink and green and blue around them are very interesting.

It is one thing to see stamps individually in an album, but they sure seem more
interesting when they are on a cover. From what I understand, many mailers in the far east like to use a variety of colorful stamps rather than just one higher value, as they consider it artistic decoration rather than philatelic nature.

Now I feel bad using "Eternity stamps" except I get such a chuckle whenever I use one wondering how long Eternity is to the US Government. Maybe I will request that a pane or two be sent with me to the great beyond

I have been after my nephew in Taipai for years to send me some used stamps....he says they ALL USE LABELS over there...i find it hard to believe !!

An elderly lady in our stamp club that we used to bring to meetings gave me a handmade album with Singapore and ww 2 related covers including Japanese occupied Singapore.heres one from the Cocos islands !
