Good evening, today I collect for 27 years the postal stationeries of many countries around the whole world, especially from Austria, parts of Switzerland or France or the USSR, from Egypt, Ivory Coast, Zanzibar, Costa Rica, Singapur, Brunei and the Malayan States. But there are also older collections with postal stationeries from Great Britain, Sweden, Gibraltar, Malta and Madagascar, which I do'nt complete since ten years or more.
I have my own community in the net, but only for collectors who are interested in postal stationeries. Therefore i've only few time to show here some nice envelopes or postcards or other forms of postal stationeries, but I hope to meet here some other collector who are interested in similar themes like me.
My English is only very few used since 40 years, so it's possible that I write a little bit haltingly. But it's enough to show you some nice parts of my collections.
Best wishes Cantus

Please do post some scans, and please explain the items.
So far, any envelops and postcards in my collection are inexpensive items that caught my attention at shows that add interest to my albums. |

Hello Cantus, welcome! Some of the older postal stationary had a lot of good work placed into it by craftsmen of the day. I think it is a neglected area and any info would be appreciated. Sometimes I feel, it is the lack of information that halts further investigation into a collecting area as not all have the time nor skills to do a lengthy investigation. I think all enjoy a good presentation though. |

Cantus, I want to wish you a belated welcome and hope you will post here frequently about your collecting interests. Don't worry about your English, there are no problems in understanding you. Stamps have a language all their own which all of us collectors understand. Your English is a heck of a lot better than mein Deutsch. |

Gruss Gott, Hello Cantus, You are just the men I have been looking for, I collect Drucksache cards by Heinrich Treitel, but I find it very hard to get information. So I hope to see some of your collection. Tschüs, Lofty |
