Hi,
I won an auction of UN mini sheets.
The backsides are dull. I am used to seeing a MNH stamp, with a shiny backside, sticky in some way...

My question is, what condition is this mini sheet considered?

I hate to say I did this, LOL but since I won 25 of the same mini sheets, I did put a tiny tip of water on the corner, and it does feel sticky, but not a whole lot.

Anyway, if / when I trade these, I want to make sure my description of this is accurate.

Thank you for all your help!

I just checked some of my UN mini sheets from the 1980s. They also looked pretty dull -- I think that is the normal condition.

Yes -- it's normal -- many of the UN issues are lightly gummed with dull gum. It's also much lighter in color -- not the yellowish gum on some of the 1940s-50s stamps.

Be sure to use your tongs -- the gum is there and it will react to you the oils/moisture on your skin. You don't want to leave your fingerprints on there for the next owner
