Here are some cancels that destroyed the stamps. I call them killers.

This one kills the stamp, but it is a really nice cancel, so I like it! Bobgggg sent me it (Thanks bob, another nice classic (cancel)!) It's not on paper, it just looks like it because it's touching another stamp.

The bad thing about stamps with such bad cancels on them they are only good for two things imho. 1.) Space fillers. 2.)Kindling for those nice romantic fires during the late fall and winter. I will look around I think I have a few that will fit into this category.

Naturally after I have started Killer Cancels Reborn I find the original Killer Cancel thread again.

I have several Killer cancels seems mostly from the 19th century when hand stamps where used more often. Cork Cancels ca be real killers at time

Unfortunately I have no Cork cancels in my collection at this time. Hopefully I will eventually find some.

You want killer ? heres U.S. scott # 90 $350 in 2003 catalog...i couldnt get 20 dollars for it..so its in my album ! Thats George peeking out !
