While holidaying in a small town outskirts of Brisbane some 16 years ago, I noticed some stamps just couldn't escape my eyes, such colourful and striking, all the culture, habitation, history, etc. exhibiting in a small pieces of paper.

For newer issues they are beautiful but look at the older papua engraved stamps and you'll certainly want to add to the collection. Also used from Papua with clear cancels can be quite coveted due to low use of various cancels.
Almost forgot to say

Thanks brothers, the colonized stamps are quite hard to find in any stamp dealers in my country, but some of the newer stamps are very eye catching.

I thought it might be interesting to juxtapose those beautiful full colour headgears with these older engraved versions

Two River Rover Mk.4 hovercraft were sent to PNG in 1993 by British charity, HoverAid. This was the 4th expedition organised by Mike Cole to set up a Hovering Doctor service in remote parts of the Third World. The service was based at the General Hospital, Balimo - on the Fly River Delta. The HoverAid team were with the craft from 1 March to 14 May 1993, proving the craft were ideally suited to the terrain, and training local crews to operate and maintain the craft when the team returned to the UK.

Papua New Guinea has always struck me as being a very exotic &
mysterious place and the stamps reflect that.

These are the only ones I have. I bought them when they
came out, mainly for the stamp on stamp theme and for the
engraving.

If someone has the original stamps I would love to see scans.
