Hello to all members,
I am 65 and have been collecting Stamps and covers for over 50 years.
I used to be keen on Great Britain until 1999 when I gave up collecting wall paper. My main interests are British Empire ( Those were the days ) War Tax, and Germany up to 1939. I also collect postal stationary pre 1935.
I spend a great deal of time on my computer, so I would love to correspond with fellow collectors.
Cheers Lofty

And don't forget to post some pice of your collections in the main forum.
Have you stopped collecting GB altogether ?

G'Day lofty from down under and to the forum,
I collect as you do but possibly not as deep into it as you
My FDC Aussie collection is more extensive with many late doubles.

Hi Lofty.
There are a few of us SCFers in London.
If you ever fancy meeting up at the Charing cross collectors fair on a Saturday or larger event post a message in the events forum.

I just corrected a typo above whereby I misspelt larger as lager which is a freudian slip.
See Charing Cross + beer thread

Lofty

Enjoyed some of your posts and pics in other forums. You mentioned British empire as well as Germany as your collecting interests. Is that the classical era - pre 1940- or later or both? I collect world pre 1940 as you can probably tell from my questions. ;-)
