Hey all! As most of you know as a general rule I do not play with anything past Sc#299. But I saw these at what I thought was a good deal. Tell me how I did. Ron 523 "Franklin", $2.00 Orange Red and Black of 1918, Mint, OG, F-VF, Hinged, Sound Cond. "Kansas" 1 c. - 9 c. Values of 1929, OG, MNH, F-VF I just could not pass up these two 63 AVG, Close to Fine, Unused, OG, Hinged, "1 c. Blue" (1861 Issue) A killer space filler here for somebody 292 F-VF, Used, Repaired Faults On Right Side, "$1.00 Trans-Miss." (1898 Issue)

I_Love_Stamps Please e-mail me. I have somethings that might float your boat. Why mess around with a used when I have a lead on a 72 ng/rg that might come in at not much more than a realy nice used. Also, I have one each color of the thin paper 70's and I am looking at several others including a 70b mint steel blue (ouch) as we talk. |

Some nice ones -- you may have to advance your "cut-off" date by a few years |

Ron, I'm trying to complete my Pan-American series and I'm looking for a 299 and was wondering what you had in stock if anything. Criteria is that I have been very picky on the rest of the set so I am looking for one with excellent centering and unused with Gum. Mounted or unmounted I really have no preference on. Let me know ...Thanks

Hey Stallzer As luck would have it, I just sold and complete set of plate block number pairs that were Mint og nh sf centered. Actually the 298 pair was PSE graded at J98. Not cheap but well worth the money. As it stands, currently this is the only #299 I have in stock Mint og lhr fine centering with slight perf crease. Knowing your needs, this one is most likely not what you need. I will have Don check some of the auction houses and see what he can come up with for you. Just give me a couple days. Ron |

Stallzer Don, just sent this to me and thought this might fit your needs. It is Mint OG h xf/vf centering. The bad part is they are wanting all the %%))%&* money for it. You would be looking at $95.00 to $100.00 including shipping and insured mail. I'm still looking. Ron |

Hey I_Love_Stamp! I posted this in another thread, but I wanted you to see this. I do not wish you to think that I have not been looking for a nice #70 for you. Don, sent me these this morning. The used one should come in at $60.00/$70.00 range, the Unused around $225.00. What do you think, should I go for one or the other? They are about the nicest ones out there right now. Ron (70a) 24c Brown Lilac, Unused, wonderful strong color, sm. thin, probably reperfed at B., quite fresh and Fine-Very Fine appearance CV 1,250.00 1862, 24¢ brown lilac (Scott 70a), grid cancel, faults, Very Fine. Scott $300. |

I like used classics and I'd happily buy #70 early Sept. But wow those are stunning to say the least! Thanks for keeping me in mind. |
