Here is the new 2008 Olympics stamp. I like how it's simple yet nice to look at. Hope you all enjoy it.

I bought a pane of the Olympics and the purple heart issue yesterday. They were the most interesting items available at the post office. I'm still waiting for the baseball issue to come out in a couple of weeks.

When I bought these I went in for some of the new Flags of Our Nation stamps. When I asked for a coil of them they told me they weren't issued yet. I told them they where issued around the middle of last month and they argued with me about it. I insisted they where already out and then another guy got one of there little catalogs out and said "yepp he's right they where issued on June 14th." So they then went looking for them and found out that our local P.O. hasn't received them yet and are not sure when or even if they will get them.

CWarrior--I sometimes have to correct my local post office folks, too. It's discouraging to say the least!

PS Nice Olympic stamps, Bandicoot! --I have been watching on CNN that some of the athletes are wearing masks to protect from the smog.
