Hi everyone!

I currently live in France, but I am Canadian (and yes I miss home).
I am a stay home mom with 2 kids (4 months and 4 years old)

I collect far too many things but mainly:

A- Covers, cancels and postcards from Plessisville, previously named Somerset (in Quebec, Canada).

B-France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa: all in used pre-1960 stamps or covers.

C- Plus from time to time I will buy items I don`t collect because they just appeal to me. Usually it is covers or booklets.

I also love to sort kiloware, just for the thrill, sometimes I find interesting pieces and good trade material.

Outside my stamps collection, I also buy postcards from Plessisville and Thetford Mines. As well as Notgeld banknotes, vintage stuff I can use in my house instead of ugly `made in China carp.

Coins is also in my line of interest, but I have much will power so I refrain from buying anything...

See you around

Fanfreluche,

I think you'll find many collectors here with similar interests as yours. I collect "too much" of everything myself and love to sort kiloware just as you do. I love finding a new stamp I've never seen before. I now have enough kiloware to sort for the next thirty years I think.

Feel free to show us parts of your collection. Everyone here loves to see scans.

I had to laugh at your statement about collecting vintage stuff you can use around your house instead of the Made in China crap. A friend of mine got me started in collecting fine antique and vintage China and dinnerware. What a contrast to using paper plates and styrofoam!

Welcome Fanfreluche

First of all I use to watch fanfreluche with my kids when they were young. Sounds like a great collection you have there.
