Jeff, I think that dude is Romania Scott 213 from about 1908. Nice engraved stamp.

In the Scott catalog --

Romania 213(1908) for orange
Romania 214(1918) for light red

Since you have the stamp, I'll let you pick the color.

A similar one from my collection,
with "MANDATE" cancellation (domestic money order strike)

compared to yours mine looks a bit orangey.

Mi 242 orange red (1918) 2 EUR MNH, 1 EUR used

Thanks everyone and for the scan Rod, it makes a real comparison possible. I wouls agree and put mine down as light red and yours as orange. (of course my color guessing stinks, but I think that's where I would go with it) Thanks everyone for your help and information!! - Jeff
