Outside of my main area of interest - France and Machins, I tend to collect any attractive engraved items but am working on how best to organise/display them.

Whilst my main focus is on UK and Germany, I too collect WW. I just feel that I'd be mising out on seeing some great stamps if I just stuck to one or two countries.

Will the collection get anywhere near complete? of course not, but it'll be fun trying in the meantime

As for those Dutch definitives, when I am back from holiday, I intend to tackle 'the beast'. a 1.9kg box of Dutch stamps sent to me by a mate in Holland. (apparently he has 2 more ). I know for a fact that there are loads and loads of definitives in there, so once I get them all sorted, I might be able to fill in some holes in people's collections

I have always collected world-wide, while focusing on specific countries I found interesting (Poland, Australia, Germany, Russia etc.)
Due to space constraints (Having a room full of Steiner albums can be challenging when moving often), I have scaled down - I actually sold everything except for a few collections. Anyway, I'm now looking into what to put my energy into. As worldwide collecting has always been extremely rewarding for me, I'll probably continue up until 1870 (1900 and 1940 are also possibilities - hard to limit yourself, right? :-)
And then there is Germany with all the interesting WW1/WW2 stuff...
