I was having all sorts of trouble trying to get gummed stamps for mailing as they are rarely used these days. Have waited 6 weeks now for an order from Australia Post. Have waited 8 weeks for my local PO for gummed stamps and I still have not seen one.
So in despair, as I will not use self adhesives, I found a large PO on the mainland that did and will supply me with as many gummed and different stamps as they can. So many beautiful new stamps for mailing and it is nice to post some of the images of new stamp releases. This is a nice spot to do this and what ever else that fits.John

Its great to see threads on current stamp issues. A welcome break to look up from the dusty 19th and 20th century and see the bright, light, modern world. And interesting to see how a nation's self-image is portrayed on its new stamps.

This piece of information will be hard to find as the years go by.
