Are these different colors or has the one on the left just had a rougher life? I think the possibilities are supposed to be scarlet and dull carmine -- the one on the right looks like scarlet on my color chart and the one on the left doesn't look pink enough to be dull carmine (but I only have bright carmine and carmine red in my chart, so I can't be sure).

the right stamp is the scarlet variety... the left could be any of the other options...
