My latest illegible spray-on cancel.
I had recently ordered something that required me to provide a self-addressed stamped envelope, so I thought I would use the recently issued Edward Hopper stamp (with plate number selvage) and get a nice postmark on it in return. Instead, I get this. Typical of today's post office sorting equipment, I guess
... Good thing no one had need to verify the date or location of the postmark!
