Thanks 22crows,
good site,
I don't recall ever seeing GB TPO here,
yet lots from other countries, I would have expected
numerous examples of GB TPO's.

I will gather up some more examples when I get the chance over the next day or two and add them up to the thread. I have to run off to a Tennis tourney so don't have the time right now.

I will say though that this is a very interesting topic and the pool of material isn't too deep. I would be willing to bet a fiver that if everyone on SCF looked through their GB collections specifically for GB T.P.O's that we would be lucky to fill 2 pages with image posts.

I of course would be very happy if I was proven wrong, as these are beautiful to look at!

Have a Good One,

Skilo54

Thanks Skilo,
the very first one you post, I cannot crack,
I am looking at a map of routes, and cannot find Midland.
I am trying to understand the system,
I notice Bristol is the only centre serviced to the West Country
that seems odd, I would have thought the packets
docking in Plymouth etc would have had a TPO service to
London, and further.
I guess Midland may be an encompassing term for the Leicester
Manchester area, for mail up from London.

Ah, I see Midland refers to the Rail service Company
based in Derby, the only company servicing Southern England
and South Wales (Cardiff).
