i found this perfing error in my sorting.

these stamps just seem to find me I think.

but I like that they are a little different..

Nice examples of a perforation shift.

You'd be surprised that perforation shifts are a lot more common than we might think ... and for whatever reason, the Americana series of stamps seems to be notorious for them.

Here are a few images I scanned off of internet listings for similar perf shifts. Sales prices are an open-ended question, as while these examples range from $10 to $50, depending on the severity of the shift, not many buyers are listed to have bid on them at those prices.

It certainly is! It's always fun to find that perforation shift or color mis-registration or whatever, but unfortunately there are only a select few that command serious premium pricing, most are surprisingly affordable as "freaks" rather than true "errors".
