I am trying to take a guess at this stamp without looking up anything online, lolol...

I figure if I take a guess I will remember how wrong I am when all you wonderful people tell me what this stamp is.

I have not seen the word: FlugPost before. I think I have seen Goschen.

With the letters REICH in the 'OsterReich' I thought maybe Germany? But then I thought maybe it meant Osterich, lol.. okay kidding, how about Austia.

And I have no idea what the writing in on the bottom white part of the stamp.... JUNG?

Thanks again,
SueStamps

"Österreich" (literally "East Empire") = Austria in its native German tongue.
"Flugpost" = airmail
"Groschen" = the Austrian currency of the time

Arlberg is a mountain range between Voralberg and Tyrol in Austria. The highest peak is at 2,811 meters (9,222 ft).

There is a tunnel through the range built in 1978. But there is an old paved road over the pass at 1,793 meters (5,882 ft).

The area had to be a bit forbidding for a plane in 1935.

G Jung was the designer,
Very difficult to find out anything about him
on the internet. (that "other" Jung keeps popping up)

Designed the Art Deco styled "Costume set" of Austria
that married well into surrounding issues by willi dachauer
that featured art deco / art nouveau.

Jung's was more pictorial with modernistic lettering

keep a watch out for one issue with "reversed ears"
on the lumberjack

I love these designs, one set where I would like to have
mint uninged to appreciate the designs.

A tree falls in the forest,
if there is no one there, does it make a sound?
