If you are talking about the 3 stamps issued in 1930 for the Norwegian Tourist Association Fund, compared to the same pictured stamps issued in 1943, the difference is in the size. The originals were 35 and a half x 21 and a half mm; the later stamps were 27 x 21 mm, according to SG.

Hi 22crows
The stamp you are thinking of is Sc # B3 ,B10 and B30 are the same size. The only difference Scott's give is Chalky blue and blue.
Also I think Gibbons Simplified is a too Simplified Catalogue. The first set of Irish Definitive s issued in 1922 I think were issued again in the 1940/42 with a different watermark There is no mention of them in Gibbons.
I personally will not be buying their SOTW again ,Scott's is far better imho, more expensive, but lots more information. Especially for the world collector.

For those of us who can never figure out color shades , here are my recommended methods for distinguishing between the 3 major varieties of the 30o+25o North Cape stamp:

Scott catalog numbers
B3(28Jun1930) -- size 33.25x21.5mm
B10(20Jun1938) -- size 27x21mm, perf 13x13.5
B30(1Apr1943) -- size 27x21mm, perf 13

So check stamp size first to distinguish between B3 and B10/B30.
Then check perforation to distinguish between B10 and B30.

There are other differences as well, in color and in watermark, but the above is my recommended method.
