While going through some covers I came across this item.





What I know: It was issued in 1890 as Columbia postal stationery envlope B-5 (H&G number).

What I assume: This was used for river mail delivery between (?) where to where.

What I don't know: Anyone have the scoop on what the Postal Fluvial system was?
