Hi Everyone,
I wanted to auction these very nice MNH oversized stamps from Russia but am having difficulties in identifying them. I am not sure why, but I have a heck of a time with the Scott Catalog.... (electronic version, 2008).

Anyway, if anyone can please verify that I have the correct Scott numbers and also, there are a few that I could not find at all. The only reason why I could find three was because the stamps have the dates right on the stamps

Thank you very very much! Here they are:

Photo of all the oversized stamps together so you can see the size comparison with a small stamp:

Scott # 4534, 1976

Scott # 4533, 1976

Scott # 4722, 1978

````````````````````````````````
````````````````````````````````````

Here is a 1970 submarine, Scott # unknown

1978 Russia ship, Scott # unknown

1987 ship

````````````````````````````
```````````````````````````````

If anyone know what type of printing this is, please let me know. I love the texture of the stamp. It almost looks like the image of the ship and the black circle was placed on top of the smoother background (the three with the grey anchor symbol in the bottom left corner).

Here is a close up of a few from above

I want to auction these off here on this forum but want to make sure I have enough information. I will offer free shipping and start at just $1.00 to cover postage as I am doing this not for profit but since I enjoy stamp collecting, I would love to share some of my duplicates with others. Plus all you wonderful people have been so kind with helping me out with my stamps! I also have photos of the backside of each stamp.

Thank you all so much!

Scott numbers for those three:

- 1970 submarine: Scott #3756 "Atomic Submarine "Leninsky Komsomol".
- 1978 Russia ship Scott #4723 "Icebreaker Moscow".
- 1987 ship: Scott #5587 "16th-17th century ship".

I can't tell anything about printing, but I hope those numbers helped you.

EDIT: The Scott numbers for those three you've already identified seems to be right.

Greetings
Jani

Hi Jani, (FinCol)
Wow, I am so amazed, you found Scott #'s so quickly. Thank you thank you so very much.

Hi stampgal,
I agree, the three stamps really are quite nice with their "metallic" look. Thanks for your comment!
