Tried a couple searches but came up empty handed.
I know we have several members in Massachusetts and was wondering if any can recommend a decent, fun stamp shop in South Eastern Mass. I went to Falmouth S & C last weekend but they're more on the coin side and didn't have much interesting stuff to look through for stamps. I picked up a few things but they lacked what I really was looking for.
Looking for some supplies like mounts, stock pages, glassines, maybe some used albums/accumulations and just some fun things to look through.
As a kid I used to go to Ephraim's in Worcester and remember being like a kid in a candy shop every time I went in there. I'd like to find a similar place if it still exists.
thanks for any input

Looking west of Cape Cod, I only see 2 places within an hour or so from me
Anybody been to these two shops?:
Phil's Stamp Den - 1801 S Main St, Fall River, MA or Anchor Stamps - 572 State Rd, Dartmouth, MA |

South of Boston (but not Southeastern MA) there's this small place. Just outside of the downtown area on Route 1A. Been there a couple of times but bought stamp supplies only, haven't really looked much at his inventory or prices:
Kappy's Coins & Stamps

Thanks, that one came up in my Google searches I think and thought about heading up to that one this morning. But decided to head west to Phil's Stamp Den in Fall River. About an hour drive for me.
Well worth it - Nice guy. Had all the supplies I was looking for and then some. Prices all seemed fair.
I picked up some Vario pages, glassines and lots of mounts. Also grabbed a book with a ton of Canadian Stamps from the 10s to the 70s for 10 bucks and a few mint from the 54 Liberty set.
Will definitely be heading back there when I have a better idea of my stamp needs. He has a ton of stuff |

I go to Kappy's often enough to be able to recommend them as suppliers of all related stamp AND coin items. You can also find a deal or two with their stamps and labels. As a matter of fact some of the labels that I have sold here on SCF have come from Kappys. - Jeff |

Wow.. looks like a lot of SCF members are in the eastern MA region. I will try that Belmont place; literally 10 minutes from where I live. |

I have been trying to contact Phils in Fall River but can never find it open. I've asked the members of the Fall River stamp club, but no one is sure. |

Phil is closed Sundays and Mondays I think - On Saturday he opens at 7AM but told me to always call ahead first in case he's not going to open for some reason.
I stopped back there this past Saturday and bought a bunch of mounts for sheets. (He has every size imaginable)
Also picked up a few odds and ends I was missing - The broken hat Columbian, the 1932 Washington set (1-10c) , A couple Souvenir sheets from the 1990s. Blew about 170 bucks all in all |
