Here is a cover I've had for awhile, thought it was rather interesting, ashave never seen one like this before, but know there has tobe more around.

Now an undersea post office is very interesting.

Hi Dianne

You should see my Naval covers, if you like to see some intersting cachets

Usually don't do too much with FDC unless they are older ones, before 1940 and many of those I just pass bye.
IMHO most newer FDC are made as philatelic collectables that aren't worth what you pay for them,especialy if you think some where down the road you want to sell them. Know a number of older stamp collectors who have just about given away their FDC collections because they had no one to pass them down to, nor could they get back the money they had invested in them.

Here are some covers I just recieved from Ziggy9 in the pay-it-forward run. These are some Space Shuttle Challenger Covers from 1983 -1985. They are also my first space related covers in my collection. Thanks alot Ziggy9.

Sneeky those 1937 block of 4 first day covers are great ! I have an affinity for anything 1939...New York Worlds Fair..my father used to go all the time..probably because his buddy worked there and got him free passes..what am I talking about ? I do not even know if there was an admission fee...can anyone help with that ??? phil

Admission to the Fair was 75 cents, but was lowered to 50 cents on October 1, 1939. The 1939 World's Fair covered 1216 acres.
