Thanks Phil for the thought. My affinity for the space covers is left over from my younger days. During Jr. High and Sr. High my bed room walls where plastered with military Jets and all types of Space craft. |

The F104 huh??? I always thought it looked like a dart on steroids.. . I didn't get to go into the service but My Father was a civilian worker for the Ark. ANG 188th TFG. While he was there I got to make friends with most of the Co.O.'s and the specially the Base Commander and they pulled strings and got me up in an F-4 Phantom and later on I got to go up with the USAF Thunderbirds and the USN Blue Angels. I also had some friends that worked in the Helicopter barn at Fort Chaffee, Ark. and they got me up in several different choppers. I have flown the UH-1, in the AH-64 Apache & Huey Cobra, Kiowa, Black Hawk, and a couple of civilian Bell Rangers. Know those are some aircraft I would really love to find on stamps. |

Cim Nice covers, like PhilB. I'll keep my eyes open for Space covers for you, think I may have a couple kicking around here. Always nice to see what other folks collect, never boring. Also enjoy see what areas they collect, be it covers stamps or Post cards. Thanks for sharing!

Speaking of Flying, found this cover among my Naval covers. First Flight from McMurdo to Chile, So. America in 1964. Found it rather interesting as it has U.S. Air Mail Postage as well as Chile postage and was cancelled by the Navy PO as well as a Chile PO. |
