Hi Art.
Because of our financial situation the choices that were made on lots at the bricks and mortar auctions had to fit our situation and circumstances. So messy bulk lots are cheap and the more stamping that is done to these lots the more they are worth when resold at the auctions mentioned. So in turn more messy lot could be purchased and that is the only way for me to grow a nice collection on a shoe string budget.
I call myself a treasure hunter in the stamping Kingdom. In the final round up the only stamps that are truly mine are my KGV penny reds. The rest of the stamps are now sold on ebay. Stamping is the only thing I can now do to earn some income because of a horrible accident. Stamps have given my family the basics in life that the accident took away from me to give to them.
For many years I could not talk but my mind was working on the inside. Stamping is and has been my pleasure. Auction catalogues freed me from poverty of thought. Gave me a life again. Now I am able to be a SCF member and continue to grow. I never give up. Can you see how much stamping means to me?

Pleasure for sure - it's like putting the puzzle together and trying to find all the missing pieces!

It would have to be for pleasure. I don't foresee making any profit from this.
