I just yesterday got this from a fellow friend and forum member! Really neat and I also noticed that it wasn't printed by the American Banknote Company but Western Banknote Company Chicago. Never heard of them. The design on the reverse looks like it was incomplete. Here are some scans for you. -Jay

It was folded but someone had the foresight to press it flat. All in all I'm very happy with it!

That looks great !

I found this info on the Western Bank Note Company :

Western Bank Note Co.
formed in 1865
bought by American Bank Note Co. in 1901
operated as subsidiary until 1911
operated as Western Division of American Bank Note Co. after 1911

I love the 1893 tickets, the artwork on these are great.

Recently, someone on ebay sold a collection of tickets from several expositions and fairs, in pairs. They were glued to a page so each ticket was severely damaged on side. I didn't bid on then because of the damage.

I also enjoy collecting the WCE tickets. Check out some of the prior threads about this topic. I had assumed that one was also produced by the America Banknote Company. Wonder if the Chicago Day ticket was as well?
