Can someone tell me if the Stamps of Our Nation series is only being issued to certain P.O.'s. Our local P.O. STILL does not have them and does not know when or even if they will get them. Is there any way of finding out about this or are we just at the whim of the Postal Service???

Hi Richard......

I've found them at 4 different P.O.'s near me.......if you want a mint set of 10 or a full roll, let me know.

And, your zoo went out this morning.

Cimarron - it's seems like I read in Linn's or SSM that the individual post offices had to order the rolls, but that some don't want the hassle of dealing with the 50 stamp rolls and all he requests for certain 10 or 11 stamp strips. It's just another example of the USPS being collector friendly I think.

Sounds like our Red Hook post office...they have to order the air mails and commemoratives..they probably do it like a Chinese menu type..order these..but not these..i have seen post offices that cater to the collector...Red Hook is not one of them...

I received two of the stamps on a packet from an American friend... lucky me. When the roll with Texas comes out, I'll need three or four of those stamps. With the rest of the stamps on the rolls, I'll be set for U.S. postage for life!
