Below are two scans of a Formular Card which I beleive was used
in (by) the Russian Occupied zone of Germany.

The town cancel on the rear (fig 2) is that of Eisenberg, located
in the old province of Thuringen.

The cancel date is 1967.

AT the bottom of the front scan (fig 1) is a date of 6.61.

I cannot find this card in Higgins & Gage. What might be the Michel or H&G numbers? Date issued? Zone useage? Anything?

Thanks.

Thanks

The postmark was applied at a stamp exhibition in the Eisenberg in the Rheinland Palatinate (Pfalz) in West Germany not the one in Thuringia.

My michel ganzsachen catalog (1991) only lists postcards with stamps printed on them, though the general layout is similar to Bundesrepublic postcards issued about 1960.
