[This will kill anyone on dialup (assuming there are people who still use dialup) so my apologies for the length of time it takes the page to load.]
I posted a link to this collection about 6 months ago, but never actually posted the images here. Now that I'm getting close to paying it off (I couldn't afford an outright purchase), I may start integrating it with my own collection. I will be meeting the same person next month to buy his railroad, mining, and steamship cancels, which I'm looking forward to.
This is the most complete and well-organized collection of cancels that I personally have had the opportunity to acquire. It is entirely insurance companies, organized alphabetically by company name, and then by Tolman number. Over 1,000 pieces of 1st-issue revenues.
oh man that's a massive haul there! Here is just a few that caught my eye K5 on far left looks violet M-81 T Is beautiful N-42-3 & N-42-1 Gorgeous! N-42 P-32 C-37-A (C-43?) is decked out pretty nice! N-62-A Wow!
Man, not one image was displayed! Just empty boxes. I was really looking forward to seeing these too. I'm sure its something on my end and hopefully, I'll get the images later.

After seeing a collection like this, mine dulls in comparison. I don't think I've ever seen the quality of revenue stamps like that with such a variety of cancellations. It would be interesting to see how many of those insurance companies may still be around in one form or another as many of those early-day names were merged with companies that are still well-known today.
Revenuecollector that is an AWESOME display. I did notice however that there were several items there that I do not have. If I make a list would you mind sending them? :)
Dan, I am awe struck at the completeness. Their are quite a few there I have never seen. Any idea how long it took to put together? Congratulations on a fantastic addition to your collection!
