Improbable Research: USPS Postal Experiments

Came across this Improbable Research Report on "Postal Experiments" and thought I'd share the link:

While I would never be so brazen as to do some of the stunts involved, it does make for interesting reading and shows a remarkable level of tolerance that USPS employees must have to endure in day-to-day collections and deliveries across the US.

Now if we could just find out what ever happened to those tags of stamps and/or special postal markings that were affixed to some of these items, we could actually have some philatelic collectibles!
