There are 8 different varieties here. May I find more? Check the alignment of "C" in Calif. With the letters above it.

I have loads of these SF precancels. I guess I need to sit down and sort them sometime. Maybe a good project for a rainy (or snowy!) day. Just wondering if there are any specific varieties to look out for or if they are all relatively common, just different?

(What confuses me to no end about collecting precancel is that there are certain precancels with only the slightest variation in the overprint that is barely detectable that are catalogued separately; while others with obvious spacing or printing variations are not.)
