Here is a scan of some precancelled US postal stationery. There are
a number of these types of items out there. There are specialists in this subcollectable that find this a most interesting chase!

We are all familiar with a precancelled postage stamp, but a few of you may have never known of precancelled postal stationery.

I wonder how many varieties of those cards exist. I found an "ended" ebay auction for a similar card, but as you will note their example uses serifs in the printed letters:

I suspect the Red Feather logo is the precursor to today's United Way, formerly the United Fund, formerly the Community Chest, formerly the Red Feather Society.
