I didn't know this guy did revenues. I'm probably the last person to know...but just thought I'd drop a quick warning just in case.

These look pretty crappy from the photo, but I had a couple his "confederate" masterpieces with unmarked backs show up in a lot of BOB I bought a while ago.

That's ridiculous.

Why not just google the images and print your own if that's what you want

wonder if any of those images were grabbed from here

Yeah and you know I see those a lot but usually they are the periodicals eg: newspaper and the like, revenues and they are usually CLEARLY MARKED "facsimile" emblazoned across the front and I really don't like seeing those either but those are not marked at least not that I can see anyway but that makes me ill thinking that someone would even attempt to do that and swiping an image from here for anything but reference on your private machine is just right out! I hope this is isn't a new thing I need to worry about! Can he be reported or be fined for counterfeiting?

That really boils my blood actually!

I_Love_Stamps,

The seller clearly states they are Facsimiles and they are all underprinted such.
What's unusual, and in my opinion a bit silly, is that they are Facsimiles of used stamps !
That I find rather strange.

They seem to be marked as fakes. Still seems a bit spooky though.

I got a couple of inkjet printed confederate stamps in a BOB lot a while ago. They were sold as suspect/fake so no foul. Anyway, they looked great from about 3 feet away. Once you get them in hand, they looked really cheesy. These aren't going to fool anyone who takes a hard look, but a few salted into a grainy ebay photo? They might look OK.

Take a look at the other offerings that this seller has - just to be aware - it looks like they have rubber stamps for fake cancellations to create facsimilie covers. Other odd things on there too.

HEY! You can even get a fake sheet of LO1! I guess that is to act as a place holder in your collection until you get around to buying a genuine sheet(?!?!)

Don't get me started on that [INSERT EIPTHET HERE].

He keeps littering various stamp categories with his fake crap.

"I am selling off my entire collection of fakes, forgeries and facsimiles."

Bullcrap on a stick. It's not a collection. If it were, there would be one or two of each kind, not an infinite supply that he's running off on his inkjet or laster printer at home.

I really, REALLY, wish ebay would require fakes and copies to ONLY be listed in categories slated for copies (the problem is actually far more egregious in the coins categories than stamps), but as with anything else, ebay doesn't give a tinker's damn.

And people buy this crud too. Egads.

P.S. If he's anything like the coin fakers, the ones you actually get won't be marked "facsimile" on the back, just as the fake coins don't have the word "COPY" stamped into them. The sellers of this garbage post pictures showing they are marked so ebay won't shut their listings down, but what they are sending out are NOT marked.
