AFAIK quite a scarce item,
used label on mutilated piece
with "clockface" canceller pmk 1992

The Box Link labels were designed for business
services for PO Box holders ony. - PO Box to PO Box.
It was, at 30 cents per article 15 cents cheaper than the conventional mail rate. It did not turn out to be popular, and
did not last long.

Similar to ...
"Cross Town labels", providing a speedy across town package service for parcels weighing up to 25K. for $3.25. Again, this service was not used a lot, and the trial was never extended to other capitals.

Hi! Rod.
In a buy a year or 2 ago were 3 bundles, of a 100 Box Link Labels.

I have never seem them before or since.

22crows info was great stuff as usual.

Many have the clock face cancel. Most seem to have very small creases on them.

I really enjoy giving them as bonus stamps along with a lot of other stuff for that matter.

Thanks KG5
you really know how to crush a guy :(
I thought they were scarce. (sigh)

If you had offered a decent thread topic I would have found it
instead of "my first cinderella" :(

Now I am of the opinion and with some other decimal stamps as well that the catalogues are very wrong with pricing. I have never seen this stamp label on offer anywhere. So the lack of sales on this item is it's worst enemy and I truly believe this item will be pricey in the years to come. Also yours is on paper. If anybody knows more please correct me.

Renniks 2010 catalogue has them at $1.50c Mint and $2.00 used. I smell an under priced item already!
I did put some up for sale and they got a lot of attention and I think they sold for over $5 each but people had little trust in us back then.
My thoughts on this stamp label as a bonus stamp is that in the years to come the receiver will remember that they got it for free from us and feel very happy about it all.

Not mentioned in Renniks.

Nothing at all in Stanley Gibbons.

ACSC Decimals I can not get at, at the minute.

It will be interesting to know if I am right about how little these stamps are to find.

The person that collected the kiloware that had the stamp labels in it came from a dealer that has many Office contacts for stamps on paper. The kiloware was sold to a person that had been taking stamps off paper for this dealer for over 10 years and would of felt totally safe in the knowledge that they would come back to him. But I got them instead.
