if someone replies and wants to trade, do they also have to have 50 posts?

Yes.

From the Rules section:

Quote:
You must have at least 50 quality* posts and have been a member for at least 14 days to post anything involving buying, selling, or trading. This applies to any forum at all, not just the Buy/Sell/Trade forums. Established members may not make any reference to a new member under 50 posts involving buying, selling or trading.

The last sentence applies to your question.

Thanks so much, comments welcomed, here is the link:

I had responded as if you were going to sell it on ebay. You have made a good enough listing to be a stand out on ebay, let alone Stamp Community. Congratulations. On ebay you now have 80 characters for the title also.

Generally speaking, you let the customer know about the features of the item, which you have done admirably, and the benefits of owning it, which is hard to do for stamps sometimes.

Well done.

Hi Puzzler,
How did you get your name "Puzzler" I like it!

Thanks so much for your reply. You have really helped me out. Also thank you thank you for the very kind words.

I have actually listed a few stamp auctions on ebay. But since there were only a block or small load of stamps, they didn't sell for much money and I offered free shipping, plus the ebay fees for having a photo and then there was the whopper of Paypals fees... I was losing money LOLOL... but I mainly did the selling just to see if I could.

I could. I did.
I am not into making money, so this forum is a great place.
If no one wants to trade the stamp block, that's okay.

I did post a new thread under the US covers, got a nice reply to that too.

Well, I just wanted to thank you thank you thank you!

I was making those 3D castle puzzles years ago and I needed a name for ebay (numbers added to name for ebay). I wanted an international name as I thought I should sell worldwide (future empire and all that!). Puzzler is the same word in many languages (Puzzler in German, Pussler Pussel in Swedish ) and I like to analyze and figure out why things are as they are.

It is not from Batman or anything like that. Cheesh. Not to say I do not like Batman though. I had a Batmobile toy when I was young.

You can cover some or most of your shipping costs and still remain attractive to buyers. Photos can be hosted for free on different sites, you need to learn some basic HTML language though usually, to make it work OK. I just learned as I went, bit by bit.
