Verizon And The Forum Topic Subscription System

I haven't received any posting notifications today on topics I'm subscribed to, even though they have been active. Is there a site email problem?

11/22 Edit: I was able to send an email through the forum system today but still haven't received any topic subscription notifications since my original posting. My subject question remains.

Tomiseksj, hello - good to know your well. Funny you should ask that question because every now and then I get Topic Notifications - to be honest I've never understood exactly why, though I don't mind.

Obviously, I've forgotten SCF procedures.

I think that the email system has been down for several days as I've sent two emails to butterfly without a reply.

Thanks everyone for validating my suspicion -- I should have gotten emails when each of you posted to this thread as I had subscribed to the topic -- nothing has yet been received via the forum email.

I've sent a few messages to Revstampman without reply.
So it looks like a universal thing.
It's not the first time, it's been happening a few times and I did mention it to the Mods...maybe they didn't get my message !

I have been receiving subscription emails all along. Sometimes these don't happen right way, when someone posts a new addition to a thread, but I assumed that was because the forum was updating or performing upkeeping tasks or just a slow or over-burdened internet.

I have subscribed to so many threads over time that when I try to edit the threads subscription (delete) it says some message like Server is full or something and my action is not allowed.

I had tried to send an email days ago to a member and no response so assumed the system could be down amongst many other reasons.

The "Forum" subscription in the Auction section is working now but none of the individual topic subscriptions appear to be functioning. At this point, I've deleted almost all of my indivudual subscriptions and will selectively subscribe to high-volume topics as a test of system functionality.

It seems that verizon.net has decided for you (guess they figure you're not smart enough to figure it out for yourself) that our email is spam. All verizon emails seem to be bouncing.

Yes, the bounces seem to have stopped. There was a boatload of them for a little while though. So if you use a verizon email address be sure to double check with people that you are expecting emails from before getting upset.
