I'll post proper scans when they arrive.

ILS, which ones are you still missing? I also have a number of extra duplicates from the '20s and '30s that you can have. Let me know. Cheers!

I was informed recently that this set was the only US stamp set that doesn't have the US (Country of origin) on it. Is that right?

I very much need (and willing to pay for) them- #325 #327 & #330. It really bugs me seeing those empty spaces I just never see them up for sale or auction used. Any help would be greatly appreciated! ~Jay

I do not understand your question as they show " United States Postage" on them. Could you clear up your question?

Aaah, I now see the light. I was looking at the over run country set. Look at this link to see a discussion on US stamps without origin. We still have not got a complete answer to find them all though.

I read that too about the #548-#550. One of the other US oddities is #1580 (as well as #1580c and #1580B) that has no denomination on it. Gee, could it have been the harbinger of the "Forever" stamps? Naw!

Since I've mentioned it, does anyone out there have a #1580B (Perf 10.5 X 11.3) that they wouldn't mind putting on permanent display in my stamp album?

Most interesting that.

I have a set of those too, and I had never actually noticed that they don't have the country on them. If I had just come across them in a grab bag identifying them would have been interesting.

Only 1 bid for .50c so far.

There are a number of 330's and 328-330's available out there.

This is a set I purchased (eagerly awaiting their arrival).

This might be a stretch but the Lafayette issue of 1977 says US Bicentennial, but doesn't identify it as a US stamp. There's a French guy on it, after all!

note- there are at least 4 other bicentennial issues in '77 and '78 that are similar. That could be your five.

(I inadvertently posted this response on the stamps without a country link mentioned above. Could apply here too. Maybe? )

I see them on ebay and such but I meant in here or the other sites I frequent. I should have clarified that upfront I suppose. Yeah I know I could just go to ebay and snatch em up but I like to find the best bang for my buck! I'll get them probably after the New Year or hopefully for Christmas...(hint hint Mrs. Frye if your reading this. )
